Parents & Friends
街拍福利视频聽is proud of its strong tradition of involvement with the wider community it serves, and the Girton Parents and Friends (GPF) is a key player within that community.
The GPF聽is largely made up of the parents, guardians and friends of Girton students and we share a common aim to help Girton provide the best education possible for our students. We meet on a regular basis to share a wealth of expertise and vast amounts of energy and enthusiasm: all directed at benefiting the entire school.
We also balance the inevitable hard work of fundraising with a lot of fun and friendship, making membership of the GPF聽very rewarding.
Each year the GPF聽plans a series of events to further our aims (as listed below). Highly successful and enjoyable past events have included:
- New Parents鈥 Welcome Evening
- 街拍福利视频 Fair
- Parent Dinners
Aims

- welcome new parents and families to the Girton community;
- offer opportunities to establish and foster goodwill and friendship amongst parents, guardians and friends and the Head, Board and Staff of Girton;
- assist at various Girton events (sports, socials, etc);
- promote Girton in the wider community beyond the school; and
- raise funds for the further development of amenities, facilities and projects at Girton

- Friends of Junior School
- Friends of Performing Arts

Friends of Performing Arts
The Friends of Performing Arts Group combines the energy, enthusiasm, talent and time of the previous Friends of Music and Friends of Drama groups, reflecting the growth in Performing Arts at Girton Grammar over the last decade.
This growth is partially owing to the wonderful Performing Arts Building, with the 鈥淏lack Box鈥 being the jewel in the theatrical crown, and also because of the close and professional working relationship between the Music and Drama Departments at the school.
Girton Grammar fosters an appreciation of Art, Music and Drama from a young age, starting in the Junior School where every child learns a string instrument and is part of a choir.
Two thirds of Girton students, from Prep to Year 12 currently participate in Performing Arts, with over 100 performances within the school and the broader community every year, making the school a key player the cultural life of Bendigo and Central Victoria.
The primary role of the Friends of Performing Arts group is fundraising to support public performances and to continue to offer facilities of a high standard to all students.
Interested parents, guardians and friends are welcome to become part of this exciting group by contacting the Girton Grammar Performing Arts Administrator on (03) 5441 3114.
